Great site!

After watching lat night's episode of "The Pacific", I got smacked in the face with a wave of nostalgia. Seeing what the original "Suicide Chuck" flying after the final battle on Guadalcanal brought me back a bit.

I was in Charlie 1/7 for 4 years with the assualt section of Weapons Platoon (minus a short stint in H&S where I actually carried the suicide guidon) from 92-96.

I hope some other former members of the unit pop in and see the site. Well done.

I'll see if I can't get a hold of some old pictures from that era if you want them.

The time I spent with the company prepped me for where I am now (US Army Armor Captain in a Cavalry Squadron) and I wouldn't trade those days for the world.
