A fellow Suicide Charley Member that was instrumental with the Sucess that Suicide Charley had in 2003 in Najaf is now stateside and looking to connect with fellow Marines that he served with.

Mother of Marine who died in Vietnam meets the men her son served with, 41 years after his death

LENOIR CITY — For 41 years there was lingering uncertainty for Emma Lou Stansell over how her son, Gerald, died in Vietnam.

She had, she said, “mother questions” after her 20-year-old son came home from the war in 1966 in a sealed casket.

The pictures are of the 1/7 corpsmen circa 1966.  The picture was taken on hill 55 on the Battalion side of the hill.  It's unusual that we would all be together like that.  It may have been when we moved from Chu Lai to DaNang.
